FUNCTIONS
Diode laser epilation uses a selective dynamic of light and warmth.
The laser, in fact, goes through the skin layers and reaches the root of the hair
follicle.
The 808 nm wavelength allows it to precisely reach the follicle, without damaging any surrounding tissue. Subsequently, the laser wave is absorbed by the melanin of the hair bulb and follicles, and turned into heat.
This mechanism automatically raises the hair follicle temperature and naturally
triggers their elimination process.
EFFECTIVENESS
The results after a laser epilation system depend on several factors, among which: customer’s phototype, hair size and pigmentation, hair growth in the treated area.
In any case, a satisfactory treatment ensures the elimination of 80% of superfluous hair after 8/10 treatments.
Then, based on the physiological response of each subject, additional sessions may be needed.
However, the remaining hair after the treatment becomes thinner and therefore less visible.
